Did anyone see him in Smith? It was on every Tuesday night and he was fantastic - but for some reason they took the series off air and I am sooooo disappointed. Why would they take such a great programme off air????

Paul Newman has always been regarding as a heart throb and rightly so. His numberous films over the years have placed him in this position because he was able to cleverly take on each role and come out the hero. Even when playing convicts, as in Cool Hand Luke, or gunslingers, in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. He had a smile to die for and amazing blue eyes that dazzled those watching - that on top of good acting made him the star that he is. In later years when he played against Tom Cruise in a movie about pool, he was not overshadowed by the rising star. Later when he played against Kevin Costner, he still brought magic to the screen in Message in a Bottle. Long may he continue to grace our screens.
