Hot Fuzz is a brilliant new Britsh comedy that really hits its mark!!! Hands down this fantastic film is the new benchmark in British comedies!
This is definitely one of those films you have to watch at least twice to come close to getting every single joke, because they come so hard and fast it is sometimes hard to stop laughing at the previous one in time to hear the next.
People who thought the cop-comedy genre was finished should definitely see this creative film which will pluck those heart strings and have you slapping that knee while feasting your eyes on the adrenaline fueled action!!!

Hot Fuzz is a masterpiece, brilliant cinematography, interesting plot but most importantly of all, it's hilarious.

Hot Fuzz is less a satire towards american all action, guns blazing, car chase, getting your heart pumping than a praise to it, every cliche in every action film is used. There are subtle nods to Action greats, brilliant innuendo and genius original comedy.

4/5 because "Shaun of the Dead" was genre breaking, this is a brilliant step up from "Shaun of the Dead" but is the same type of ironic look at other films that is used in the "Scary Movie" and "Epic Movie" type films.

This film will keep you on the edge of the seat- in laughter. Thourougly reccomended.

I think that those who felt the movie started as an excellent parody of art schools but then failed by turning dark, you've missed the point. By turning dark, you start to fear for the main character only to be confronted by the fact that the art world is so ridiculous, it will laud anyone for the most insane reasons. Jerome's art was considered boring until he wasn't. It's not that the movie turned dark...it had to go in that direction to reach the ultimate parody.

As someone who is regularly disappointed by what passes for art today, it was refreshing to see this confronted in such an open arena. It's a disappointment that people without skills have succeeded-- and that art is the only discipline where professors are afraid to give out poor grades. I certainly experienced this in my art days. Students who put in the effort and failed to complete the requirements would still receive a good grade because they'd put in the effort.

I positively agree that this poll is of major importance to the world today. Although in this case I believe this to be true, there are were times when they seem to be pointless. While today it seems that nearly everyone would argue that this is good and bad, in society, there is usually a right or wrong that is looked up on as the correct opinion, and so for everyone to agree of to 'love' this annoys me. I believe that one person's opinion really does count but it is always biased by experience, just as mine is here.
