my son is rude abusive and disruptive in school

well. - well..i know from experience that the worst way of punishing a child to to shout at them!! i was always getting up to no good in the last couple of years at school... the teachers were always putting me in "isoulation" which means you have to sit on your own for the whole day...and do set work.. that is the meanest form of punishement my mum would deal with me..by grounding me and only giving me a surtain time to spend on the computer...she would never get angry but disappointed... after a while....i grew up and released i needed to get on with my work... so it worked =]

mis hijos solo quieren llevar un zumo o batido de esos pequeñitos con pajita y algun dulce de bolleria embasados, intento por todos los medios de hacerles cambiar de opinion porque no estoy de acuerdo con esa alimentacion, me parece que lo unico que aporta son calorias y colesterol, pero no lo consigo de ninguna manera. cuando les preparo otra cosa, siempre viene de vuelta a casa.

I recently heard of a case where the parent of a child was called in to school after a teacher had heard this child, aged 11, using foul and abusive language on the playground. The parent would not accept that this was the case and demanded that the teacher provide a witness.

This is just a case of denial ,this type of behavour happens , it is - This is just a case of denial ,this type of behavour happens , it is important for a child to be naughty sometimes in order to know the difference between right and wrong , Some parents refuse to see the other side of their child, everybody has good and bad.Unless they are perfect and that would not be possible. I feel sorry for the teacher or dinner lady that had reported the child,it is not the end of the world because your child has been naughty it is perfectly normal.It certainly needs to be addressed so it can be stopped.

Por un lado pienso que si, puesto que en estos momentos los trabajos en la empresa privada están complicados. Por otra parte, pienso que en tiempo de crisis suelen dejar de quitar ofertas de empleo público.

The vast majority of parents find this crazy, hoodies are warm, fleece lined, affordable and lightweight. Coats have to be worn and they must be `appropriate` whatever that means (we have asked and no answer has been given). Parents now have to buy a coat that no doubt the children will only wear at school and that they will hate! This is a new rule just in time for winter! More expense when most people are struggling anyway!

at my old school were weren't allowed to were hoodies.. - at my old school were weren't allowed to were hoodies... we had to wear these schools jumpers and a lot of us didn't like the school jumpers so i thinks it really unfair...cause you can't learn if your cold

Yes teachers are professionals - Yes teachers are professionals. They have passed exams and also progress through the system to higher levels, just as Doctors, Lawyers etc. They all start with an education and progress from there and if it was not for dedicated teachers we would live in an unruley world with no form of eduction other than street education

Teachers are monitored constantly for lesson planning, challenging - Teachers are monitored constantly for lesson planning, challenging learning, progression, individual learning, target/goal setting and achievement. Teachers are inspected by their school or college at least once a month, observed by ofsted and other inspectorates and any parent, school govenor or other can sit in on classes at any time. All teaching documents, handouts and learning resources are checked and double checked for appropriatness and suitability as well as for challenging material. How much more do you want?

Yes, I think it would help to have a more helpful society, as how many of us do not know what to do in on the spot situations?
