¿Que ordenador preferis MAC o PC? Los PCs estan mas estendidos y para mi son mas faciles de manejar porque nunca he utilizado un MAC, realmente no se cuales son las ventajas, pero yo me quedo con los PCs.

I really need to do something in the next month or so. Firstly I have none backed up so if something were to happen to my computer a vast majority of family photos would be lost.Secondly they are taking up way too much space on my hard drive. I have heard of a zip drive... is that what to use or you know of a better way? What do you use or do you not back them up? Any opinions on this would be appreciated. Thanks Inzil xx

I think the best way would be to buy an External Hard Drive - I think the best way would be to buy an External Hard Drive. You can get these from all good Electrical stores or online. a 500GB (enough for 100,000 + pictures) will set you back about £60. They are easy to install and allow you to move/copy all your pictures to it. If you really want a proper backup solution, then buy to and copy to both, so in case one goes down (which is highly unlikely) then you have another drive.

I have fond memories of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K which was my first computer when I was a young teenager back in the early to mid 1980s. I was bought one of the first 48K ZX Spectrums back when 48K of internal memory was a lot (compare to the 2 GB we often have nowadays i.e. 40 000 times more!). I played a lot of games on it and learned to program with the built-in ZX Spectrum BASIC and even dabbled in assembler programming. For those who don't know it, the Spectrum was a single black box with a grey rubber keyboard built in. It used a standard TV as the display and had no mouse. There was no hard drive nor floppy drive - you loaded programs by connecting a standard audio cassette to it. Other home computers around at the same time included the BBC B micro, the Vic 20, and the Commodore 64. Ay, there were the days... Folks a little older might have used the Sinclair ZX81 or even the ZX80 (white and blue and the screen flickered every time you pressed a key). These memories were prompted by a colleague who was getting rid of a ZX Spectrum, which I've taken off him.

I had a ZX spectrum+ 48k which was my very first computer and if - I had a ZX spectrum+ 48k which was my very first computer and if you turned it upside down all the keys fell out, but I do remember it fondly. There were some surprisingly good games about for the ZX spectrum and I remember losing countless hours playing Jet Set Willy and the classic Manic Miner . I also remember not so fondly taking hours to type in about 5 pages of programming out of the old computer magazines (Crash and Sinclair User) and then being rather miffed about the so called game that was created or it not working at all.

Ich würde die ATI bevorzugen, da sie für deutlich weniger Geld fast die gleiche Leistung bringt.
