yes I spelt Kristian Digby name wrong but had said in my topic i was not sure how to spell it and now some toluna members are at it again putting preasure on because of spelling mistakes i thought we had sorted this before yes people like me are not great at spelling but surley our opinion should still count or is toluna only for people who know how to spell ?

Bear in mind that if your mum (say Theresa Johnson) died and got called Terry Jones you may find this a little insulting, or rather, not insulting but not very, shall we say thoughtful as the name wasn't got right. Most spelling mistakes are forgiven but if you're writing about someones death I would have thought it respectful to look up the name first if I wasn't sure how it was spelt. Only my opinion - I certinly wouldn't have commented on that though as I would have known who you meant t/c xx

I've been feeling a bit rough since I escaped from the hospital last weekend and haven't been on the computer much, mostly because there's no place to put a broken leg around the computer desk. Today I finally logged on to find that Toluna have reinstated me with all my points and vouchers and my VIP status, hoorah!, and after all this, there's still no estimated due date for my two vouchers ordered. Why do I not find this at all surprising? Anyway, at least that's sorted, and it only took about a month. That's practically lightspeed for Toluna, wouldn't you say?

I will keep a look out now as I just think of the sponsored polls as a bonus never really taken notice which is bad way of doing things. I always thought the internet was created originally by the American military but I watched the series on recently on BBC2 called The Virtual Revolution. I never knew the inventor who created the web 20 years ago is called Tim Berners-Lee and is British and he gave to us for free…what a brilliant generous person don’t you think? He could have made a fortune!

So many of my topics I set up for 6 months disappeared after a month. I rung Toluna today, all their staff are so very helpful + they said their error due to technical problems + can’t do anything about it + suggest I set up again! + got standard response “hope you continue to enjoy Toluna”…grr! I set up Polish topic that got 442, Seaside one that got 646, Queen topic 436, mini car topic 507 + red phone box 379 in just a month + others I set up for 6 months but Toluna only set up for 1 month. In a way it got me thinking that maybe if other VIP members did set up for just a month to give other users the chance to get more opinions + then they would be promoted to a VIP. I don’t log in via the home page but direct to sponsored polls + think if we all started say on page 10 of the home page rather than the beginning to do topics for non VIP members so that all on here would then become a VIP or if Toluna each month showed topics on the home page for expert members, following month intermediate etc etc – what do you think?

Not had this happen to me, when i come on here i always start at the - Not had this happen to me, when i come on here i always start at the most recent topics and work back to where i left off, i comment on any i find interesting regardless of whether a vip or new member created them. I think they should have let you know there was a technical fault and that your topics would only be open for a month. It was nice of you to think of others though. If you do put them on again let me know and i will post an opinion on them to see if you can get some more points

Hi there, It just might be me but I couldn't help but wonder this, Seeing that after you have become established on this site as a regular member who may receive 20 plus opinions to your opinion topics. How would you feel if you were the only person to reply to one of your topics ? For me I would be wondering not only why it wasn't that popular but not good enough or interesting enough for fellow members to leave a response to. Especialy when you only ask for a 10 word response to it. So how would you feel or react if this happened to you?

A friend of my son`s just googled his postcode ,and there in the garden his wife is busy hanging out the washing . My postcode shows our little wonky willow ,and next doors caravan .The house has "come out" quite nice ,the daffodils can be seen along the side of the path and all looks tidy .It`s a shame the pictures couldn`t have been a bit later ,as the caravan has since been sold .We watched the Google -Van come past ,and had expected it all to be blurred ,he sped past so quickly . Have you googled your postcode ,I am quite happy with our result .

I wish it could be that nice all of the time as most of the time it's cloudy or wet seeing as we live in Scotland! I can't wait until they extend streetview to some less city-based locations as I love the views from around the UK. I understand why some people have issues around privacy though.
