I was appalled to hear that Chinese Authorities covered up the 'Baby milk scandal' because of the Olympics. Can this really be true? Can we trust the media on this one? This killed 2 babies and made 580 extremely ill due to additional melamine in the milk which causes kidney stones. I feel really sorry for those poor babies and their parents. If it is true that China covered this up because of the Olympics, then this only conforts the image I have of this country.

Because media can give information to the public easily and quickly, its degree of confirmation, usages, interview programs, and ethics are very important for both information givers and receivers.
