How did it make you feel ? Care to share what the topic was about ?

I posted one many months ago and it still sticks in my mind as to why I did not get one single reply. It was about face transplants ... I won't go into it now; perhaps where I went wrong is that it was a bit too heavy a subject for this site, or just plain distasteful ... I'm not sure, just speculating.
It just left me with a curiosity as to why no one responded. Have you ever had a similiar lack of response ?

Strange question, perhaps. The Greeks, supposedly learned in their day, are said to have based the cyclops theory on the discovery of elephant bones- which they transposed into huge one eyed bipeds.
Their beliefs regarding conflict between the Gods and giant Amazons are traced to the massive finds of biped dinosaur bones- enough to justify battle dead.
What is to say that today's tenets can be similarly explained? Have we really discovered everything about what we think we know?
In a way I hope not. It would be a shame to lose all mystery.

Hi there, with technology moving forever onwards I was just wondering if there was anything you wish had not been invented in the first place. Just because we can make it, should we have done so in the first place ? Be it weapons of mass destrustion to wheel clamps. Is there anything in todays world that you wish you could un-invent so that we no longer have it ? What are your thoughts on this one ?
