The Moody Blues, last night, in Cardiff. Sensational, even without Ray Thomas, who has retired from ill health. My favourite band of all time. They played a good mix of older and more recent songs that had the audience spellbound. Most of the audience were even older than me (49), but they would have put some younger people to shame, they made so much noise. Last prior to that, Queen with Paul Rodgers, unbelievably good, doing mostly Queen stuff, but some Free too. Also saw Alice Cooper, still rocking after all these years (I first saw him live in 1972 or 3, in Germany). Notice a theme here? Yes, they've all been around for a very, very long time.
