or have you still got the old analogue one. I have still got the old analogue ones but I am thinking of buying a digital radio now that they have come down in price but I am still unsure if they are worth it, our local radio station hasn’t gone digital yet. I am not technical minded so I don't know if I will be able to still listen to my local radio on a digital radio? Are digital radios all they are made out to be?

I went to the Good Food Show at Birmingham a couple of years ago and at the time I was toyng with the idea of getting a juicer. Lo and behold they had one they were demonstrating and it looked really great. Anyway I parted with my £150 -yes that right - must have been the most expensive juicer on the market. Got it home and found that whatever you juiced you ended up with loads of waste, normally the stuff you would eat anyway. It went in the cupboard and was eventurally disposed of on Freecycle. 6 months later off I went to the food show again and they had a VitaMix which they were demonstrating. I was won over - great blender does all sorts of things and can run for ages unlike a normal blender. Well this has not been consigned to the cupboard. Every other morning we make our juice in it the mainstay of the juice is Honeydew Melon then various other fruits like oranges, grapefruit, plums, apples, apricots anything you like, tinned, fresh or frozen. I also add a bit of shop bought cranberry juice. There is never any waste every part of the fruit that you normally eat goes in, even the melon pips, apple cores, pear cores etc. Although it cost the best part of £400 it is one of the best things I have ever bought. They have a site that shows it working - just search for Vitamix Uk.
