Hi guys! I'm going to my friends house tonight with my boyfriend for dinner. I have a bottle of wine to take with me - Rose. I also have 2/3'ds of a bottle of white wine as me and Mum had a small glass each for lunch but didnt' want any more as we would both be driving. It's a screw top. My question is - is it rude to go to my friends and take a bottle and a half of wine? If I don't bring it tonight, the chances are it will get thrown away... but I don't want to look like a cheapskate!
Would you think it rude? What do you think?

I remember my Gran using it when I was a nipper, it is where my love of coffee began. For those that do not know, it was a thick coffee liquid in a bottle, like an HP sauce bottle. You only needed a teaspoon full, The best coffee I ever tasted. Does anyone know if it is still available? I would love to be able to get hold of it again, I think I would be in coffee heaven for the rest of my life.

I always wondered... I love tea with milk, but in France, we usually drink it plain.
Where does this habit come from? Could anyone tell me?
