Well Autumn is definitely here as all the trees are shedding their leaves. I did not really used to like this time of year but now that I have retired early I quite enjoy it. I can still go out in the garden because it is not too cold and I love hearing the rustle of all the leaves. I try to gather all the leaves up from around my garden at least twice a week because if you leave too many of them on the ground the grass and soil do not get chance to breathe. The nights have certainly started to draw in and pretty soon we will be putting the clocks back for the winter months. Do other people enjoy this time of year, or is it one that you really hate?
