I love the way modern computer consoles and gaming have progressed particularly in terms of graphics and game play. I was torn between buying a Nintendo Wii or purchasing an Amiga 1200 on ebay, though, because so many fond memories of the Amiga came flooding back when I saw it: using the robust floppy discs, the mammoth joystick, a Lion King game I saved up to get from Game, The Adams Family game was a cracker- and two free games with the console: Denis and Oscar- can anyone remember these? Timeless games, that kept kids entertained for hours. Needless to say, I purchased a Wii- and like with playstation 2's dance mat idea, I like the way Sony and Nintendo are letting people shift their bodies more in gameplay, so we get some exercise! No matter how exciting games of today get, and the colsoles to match, give me centepide, or pac man any day- the oldies are classics, and the best!
