I am single and hacve been for a couple of years now. I had a few bad relashionships and thought it was time for a break. How about you?

Do you prefer to sleep alone or share your bed with your spouse / partner?
I know some couples sleep in separate beds or separate rooms some for health reason and some have their own rooms as soon as the kids have moved out.

Turns out, lots of couples are sleeping apart; a survey found that 31% of couples are changing their sleep habits because of a mate's sleep problems:
23% sleep in separate beds, bedrooms, or with someone on the couch.
8% alter their sleep schedules.
7% wear earplugs or a sleep mask to ensure that they get a good night's sleep.

In America they predicted that by 2015, 60% of custom-built houses would have two master bedrooms, we have a way to go in Britain before separate bedrooms are a socially acceptable arrangement, but its happening.
Some say the secret to a long and happy marriage could be having separate beds, not only will a couple escape arguments over duvet-hogging and fidgeting, but they will have a proper night's rest.

...So long, and thanks for all the fish. Sort of. Let me explain. I start a training course on Monday, that I have been waiting ages to get on. Hopefully, it will lead to a job, or at least better connections (fingers and toes crossed). Anyhoo, I won't be on Toluna much over the next eight weeks. I shall miss you all...but I want a job.

When we were late teenagers we used to save for our bottom drawer in a large wooden Ottoman we were bought one Christmas. I had tea towels , towels bedding , table wear, a few pots and pans crockery etc and was bought bits for birthdays and Christmas to put away.In todays age people have everything before they are wed or live together and it was lovely to keep checking what I had stored away. Can you say you did this or was it just something we older generation did?

Hi, when I worked I used to speak to all sorts of people during the course of a day. Now I am retired and find that I have lost that ease to some extent. Do you have any difficulties in talking to people or any tips on setting yourself at ease when you do so?.
