I am going to try woollens at home with extra blankets and only put heating on if I am ill...whatabout you?

I'm interested in helping my environment so I started looking into wind turbines and found that there are a number of objections to them. Wild life cannot live in the area around them, birds get killed on them, they're too expensive for me to use, they're noisy and power stations are still used in order to back them up. On the other hand there are benefits to them, they help the environment. I'm undecided as to whether I'll get my power from them in future but I'm looking into solar energy because you can buy small solar power kits to supply some of the energy. What do you think?

We do not just have to watch windfarms be constructed to make a difference, I am awaiting a carpet sweeper something my mother always used as did I ,but got out of the habit it is only a small thing but I hope it will help not only the environment but my electric bill as well.I have also started washing small loads of washing by hand,has anyone else got any tips about saving energy .Buying the supermarket own label is also another good one for a money saving tips.
