i bought this card about a week ago, and i started using it on my Nokia N73 device, it worked fine, and i downloaded quite a few things into it, for my phone. last night i took it out of the phone and plugged it into my card reader on the laptop. because i needed to download something directly onto the memory card. after i was done with it, i put it back into the phone, which "hanged" crashed. i thought this might just be one of those "normal crashes for a 3G phone.. so i tried to turn it off, and it didn't, and then i waited for about five minutes, and it wasn't turning off at all. so i had to take the battery out, and then i waited again. i assembled it. it was still stuck, this time it was stuck at the start, in the welcome screen.. and without any improvement, i was forced to take the battery out again. and i took the memory card out as well. the phone started alright without the card, but i can no longer open the card on my laptop.. it shows that the card in plugged in, as a removable drive, but i can't open it. when i try, it tells me to format it, and when i do, it doesn't let me.. it gives me the "windows can't finish formatting" error.. then i tried to format it from the computer management, it shows every single drive but the SD card.. so i don't know what else i can do.. one more thing.. the SD adaptor for this miniSD card doesn't fit my card reader that well.. for some strange and unknown reason.. since all my other cards are fine with it... i just want to get the card working again, because lucky enough i backed up the whole card along with my phone just four hours before it crashed.. so i just want it to work again and i can just restore all the files... thanks for reading...and if any of you have similar experience and/or have a solution, please tell me.. would be much appreciated. Whitney
1)Switch the phone off; 2)Hold down C/2; 3)Plug phone into computer; 4)you can now see all files 5)Should be able to format card without damaging phone files
I watch the TV and often feel that we Scots are treated as non-british or second class on the adverts as well as the programs if it is not in England or English they do not want to know and if by chance Scotland wins something it is hardley mentioned and if England wins something there is never an end to the news
although i am not from Scotland nor England, but i have lived in England before, and now i am living in Glasgow and like it very much! at least much more than London.. personally i consider the term UK stands for all four countries.. and i believe in that.. but i think it would be fair to say that the English are just too proud of themselves.. :P haha my experiences is that Scots here in Glasgow are much friendlier than the Londoners.. and the city is much cleaner as well.. therefore, i would say they are scared of looking bad when compared to us! :P peace
