Does anyone take out the extended warranty on electrical goods. I have just been looking up the prices for lawn mowers. I could hardly believe that the extended warranty on a £69 mower is between £60 and £65. Surely no one is fooled into this. I have not taken out extended warranties on any of my electrical goods for quite a while now, but have found two items, washing machine, and lawn mower both went wrong 3 months after the 1 year guarrantee was up, both previous items (same make as the new ones) lasted over 15 years. Things dont seem to be made to last now, but of course we pay a lot less, so surpose we can replace them easier.
