Are people from up north friendlier than southerners,I think as a rule there are friendly and unfriendly people everywhere and your location has nothing to do with it.Where is the friendliest place in the UK.I find Manchester to be very friendly and always seem to have loads of conversations with strangers there it has a good feeling and people seem more laid back.London is just too impersonal and cosmopolitan and to me could be any city in the world .Or is the pace of life just too past down south for people to bother about been friendly.
