Is it just me or does anyone else get really annoyed at all the chat line adverts that keep appearing on TV? What's wrong with people that they can't go out and actually meet other people, are they really that sad that they need to spend a fortune on text messages (being charged something daft like £1.50 per message) to talk to someone that they've never even laid eyes on! I've got to admit though it must be a great way for the companies who set up these lines to make some easy money, if the amount of adverts is anything to go by the world is full of a load of sad men (it's always men the adverts are aimed at - are they more gullible than women?!)

Do you think people in the UK have to work too long before they can retire? I feel quite depressed when I think about how many more years I've got to work before I can even consider thinking about retirement - I sometimes get the feeling that the government will just keep increasing the retirement age until it ends up that nobody can retire - it makes me want to leave the country!!! I just want the opportunity to enjoy some of my life before I die!
