Iv'e just done the ironing, this is the chore i find most boring, and always put it off til the last minute, and i thought, why has nobody invented a device or machine, where you could just pass the clothes through maybe a beam,and they come out the other end crisply ironed? You would think that with all the technology today, someone would have come up with answer, i would save up to buy an invention like this. What would you like see invented?

Had that moment a couple of times and actually tried to get items to market. But the cost to get a prototype done and to buy the product and materials etc was more than I could afford and couldnt' get financing and I am not confident enough to risk everything we have on something that may not even fly. Would love to be really inventive though and have the commitment to follow it through.

what happened to Green Shield stamps? I can remember as a small child my mum collecting these,I think lots of shops gave these away as an incentive to shop with them. She would chuck them in an old canvas bag in the larder, and just before christmas it would be my job to lick them and stick them into the book, i can remember them having fluff and dirt stuck to the sticky back, but each one was precious, as it got us kids our xmas toys.The memory came flooding back to me, because i brought a canvas "green" bag in Tesco today and the smell took me back all those years ago.

Just had to get this off my chest!! I am kept awake most windy nights by my neighbours windchimes, all you can hear all night long is "ting tang tong" I have tried having a polite word, they take them down for a couple of days, the sun comes out for a couple of hours and up they go again! They are driving me nuts!
So if any of you out there has windchimes,please be considerate to your neighbours during windy weather.
