My husband thinks £40 I think this is excessive what do you think?

he is a fully grown adult now, it does not really matter how much he gets. as long as he is earning and starting on his own two feet and not dependent on anyone else for financial backing

With so many presents to buy I started mine in april,money was going to be a bit tight this year so I thought I would start early and get it out of the way.

It really makes me cringe when I see people go through an entire transaction at the supermarket without breaking off from their mobile phone conversations. No greeting, no thanks, no eye contact; as if reducing the till staff to robots. It seems really rude to me, or am I just not moving with the times?

I dunno really, I still give some sort of responce at the check out like a thank you and a bye, guess it would depend who you was talkig to at the time, if its something important.
