Do you care what kind of additives and extra ingredients food manufacturers put in your food, if you buy from frozen that is?

I personally make sure the highest possible amount of food that I have in my diet comes from natural stuff or is cooked by myself or my family using whole and fresh foods. Not only is it better for you in terms of nutrient content, but I find that it tastes a lot better. Of course, there are exceptions like yoghurts and seasonings...but I make sure I read the label on the back beforehand...if I don't know what the ingredient is, or it isn't a brand that I trust...I put it straight back on the shelf!

Yes, definately. I believe that it is very important to know what is in your food and to this end 90% of things cooked in this home are made from scratch and, wherever possible using home grown or at least organic, ingredients. If you look at an ingredients list on a packet, tin, jar or ready meal and can't identify what is in it then how can you be sure that you are not harming your body by putting it into your mouth? The general rule here is if you can't buy it, and use it in the kitchen on a day to day basis to improve the food that is being cooked; it shouldn't be eaten reguarly. Even something as innocent looking as jam now contains ten to fifteen ingedients yet can be made in half an hour from fruit, sugar and a squirt of lemon juice and will keep just as long as shop bought jam. Until we can be certain that all these manufactured preservatives, fats, colours, flavours etc are 110% safe we shouldn't be using them, and I fear that it is already too late for many people who are now allergic to anything and everything.

I think when wearing summer clothes a tan looks much better than white skin, really what looks best a girl wearing a mini skirt with legs the colour of snow, or a girl wearing a mini skirt with nice golden sun tanned legs? i know what i would choose every time.
