i use both liquid and pencil eyeliner, i dont use it always as sometimes i just go for a more natural look however sometimes in the day i wear pencil eyeliner on the bottom lashes to give my eyes abit more edge but on the night outs i wear liquid eyeliner as it more dramatic

I think it depends on what the eyes look like and the size. Small eyes can sometimes be made to look even smaller when they have liquid eyeliner applied.
