Binge drinkers cause a strain on the emergency services, especially on New Year's Eve, with ambulances and hospital emergency wards often struggling to cope with the number of people suffering from the effects of binge drinking. Why don't they send the bill for the care given to the person afterwards? If they decide to drink irresponsibly and happily spend money on that, why not have them foot the bill when they have to be scraped up from their own pool of vomit and sobered up or operated on for a burst bladder as a result? They could have gone out for a few drinks and stopped drinking before they reached that point.

where do you draw the line - anybody taking part in sports or driving a car being made to pay if they need emergency care?

I think there is more stress due to less job security and less family stability and its wearing on people's emotions? However, there must be other factors??
Can anyone out there explain?

if you try to be nice to other people they are generally nice back - if it doesn't work then sod them

Sex Education in schools, do you think there is enuff? is there more that could be done?

absolutely necessary, but make it interesting as well as educational
