I ask my older ones that are in relationships to visit or I visit them sometime on Christmas Day, but I wouldn't insist on seeing them or them spending the whole day with me as it would be unfair to their partner & their family if they wanted to spend the day with them too. I think the decision should be left to the Children so long as they are fair to both sets of parents.

Good question, why after 12yrs would he want to mentally try abusing you again, he obviously needs some kind of help, so try talking to a Solicitor or Citizens Advice to find out where you stand legally.

My children started to go out at about 10 to the park without adult supervision, but my 8yr old is now asking to go to the park on his own with friends & I won't let him even tho he's got no roads to cross & we live in a safe area.

I did go through a phase when there was alot of media hype over the competitions that they were a set up, but after a friend won a good amount of money through one of them I believe they are no longer rigged.
