My relatives hired a dj for a family wedding the other day, and to be fair it was like the last ten years had never happened, I've never heard 'Rhythm is a Dancer' before 1 in the afternoon before! But the guy was very cheap, he was only going to charge £60 and they insisted on giving him £150 because everyone else they'd asked was asking nearer £300. I think you get what you pay for though and I would prob pay at least £300 for someone playing for 6 hours and good music. If they were to play my favourite records I'd give them £500.

I really enjoyed the Dark Knight. For such a long film the plot didn't waver although there were some extra parts that just confused and could've been left out - like why he went to China. I'm not sure if it was apporpriate for kids but I think they realised that and left a few scenes out. Heath Ledger was good. You could tell he was acting and trying to be odd but he did feel more dangerous and creepy than Jack Nicholson. A really good film.

I liked the idea of a flawed superhero but really couldn't watch it because of the hand-held camera, out of focus filming style. All of the Will Smith films I've watched recently seem to be in two parts - the bit where he does press ups and you start feeling sorry for his loneliness and the second action part. There were some funny bits and the story with Chralize Theron was a good idea even though it didn't really make any sense. Was a good film tho!
