I can not understand why supermarkets go and on about recycling when huge differences can be made by them straight away. its in our faces whenever we watch tv. im sure you have seen the advert for fabric softener. if we buy the concentrated version in a smaller bottle then less lorries are required to transport the goods to warehouses and shops. i okay thats simple! so why the hell are they still sellin the non concentrated in huge bottles. don't give us the choice then you save petrol because you dont have to transport so much weight! simple

We are having a problem with certain people living in apartments across from our house. They are all obsessed with their cars and spend most of the day and night with their heads stuck under the bonnets or else just standing there staring at their cars!! I have already complained to them about their music which they belt out of the cars at full blast at any time of the day and night. All they did was grin at me and pretend they didn't know what i was saying - they are non-nationals. Now i am into heavy metal and rock music myself and my husband is a muscian so i am well used to guitars and amps etc and i love loud music but their music(which is rave music!!) can be heard all the way thru our estate before they get anyway near our house, and we have a young child to consider too. Anyway to get to the point - do i ring the police and complain? and if so i am worried there might be reprecussions as they will no doubt guess that i was the one that reported them and i am on my own with my daughter quite a lot as my husband works shifts. Most of our neighbours are tenants and so don't really care about the noise and so won't complain. Does anyone know the law when it comes to issues like this? As i type this opinion/question i can hear their music and i am at the back of our house in the sitting room with the tv on too - it is 12.03am!! (ps hi yowzer, lulu, cliver etc - i'm back!!!)

ring the council and/or housing association which ever applies best tou your neighbours. constant nagging them will help or if its happening late like this then ring the police because they can get done for breach of the peace
