It seems that every time I open a paper (or read one online), Susan Boyle is all over the entertainment sections. The press seem to have forgotten that she didn't even win Britain's Got Talent! Surely I can't be the only person who is sick of hearing about her every move (or every photoshoot)?

I can't say that I am, I saw something about her the other day but until this I hadn't seen anything for ages.

Unfortunately I'm not going on holiday this year as I can't spare the cash.

I dont expect so. I've just worked through a week's annual leave for the extra money to keep the mortgage paid and I did the same during the 2 weeks I had in the autumn. Not a problem though.

I had a few favourite tracks in 2008, including Beyonce - If I Were A Boy, Duffy - Mercy and Chris Brown / Jordin Sparks - No Air. There's probably loads more that I can't remember off the top of my head though!

Some good tracks, and an annoyingly poppy pick for me. I'd have to agree with you on Mercy - Duffy has a great voice, and that track just screams quality. Another one I really like that surprised me a lot was Dizzee Rascal - Come Dance With Me. His appearance on News Night alone deserves credit. Final one, and only just in 2008 was The Fear by Lily Allen. She mostly got on my nerves when she emerged from cyberspace, but the Fear is a great commentary on modern British society, and I have a lot of respect for her for coming up with that one. Oh, Here Come the Girls by the Sugababes for being one of the most catchy songs I've ever heard. As I said, disappointingly pop orientated, but I think they're all good tracks in their own rights.

I didn't think much of it in the early weeks to be honest, but I'm starting to get into it now and have some contestants that I like (Adam, Kris and Matt) and others that I can't stand (Danny and Lil)! I'm indifferent to the rest of them.

I will be watching, if only for the fact that Sunday night television is a bit crap! Based on tonight's first show, it could be rather entertaining as the series progresses. Ray looks like a good prospect at the moment and Todd was just hilariously bad!

I like it when the funnier characters are in episodes (such as Steve and Lloyd) but most of the time, the storylines just bore me a lot.

I think Coronation Street is really boring at the minute. I haven't really watched it for a while now. I will only put it on when there isn't anything else to watch. There was a point when I couldn't miss an episode!
