In 1976, Irish mother Betty Williams organised a peaceful protest after witnessing three children killed during the political turmoil in N Ireland - the first week 10,000 people marched to the children's graves and and the following week, 35,000 people marched.....Betty, an ordinary housewife, received the Nobel Peace Prize for her work......In 1961 a British man,Peter Benenson, angered by the imprisonnent of two
