Just had a knock on the door and it was the man from UPS with two parcels for me. One was the ipad 2 from the summer draw. I know there's been some doubt about these promotions so just wanted to let everyone know that Toluna really do come up with the goods from these draws. Not only that, .. the other parcel was one of the hard smart covers which I think cost about 50 quid too!! Well chuffed. ;0)

Well - having said I never win anything but would have a go at the August ipad 2 / ipod nano draw, I had an e-mail from Toluna to say I'd won one of the ipad 2s !!! How lucky is that? It's since been confirmed in the blog so just got to wait for it to arrive ..... patience is a virtue they say :o)

We dug a larger pond about three years ago and are fighting a losing battle in the clear water stakes! Most of the time it's impossible to see the fish except at feeding time. We've tried all manner of chemical, natural and biological ways to get the water clear but they only give short term improvement, .. if any. The pond is about 8 feet x 5 feet x 3 feet deep and has filters and UV sufficient for the capacity. We only have eight fish in it, ghost carp and goldfish, varying in size from 6 inches to 12 inches. Does anyone have any tried and trusted ways to keep a pond clear please? Thanks.

I don't have a pond so i'm not sure how to keep it clean, regular checks and cleaning of the filter might help! :)
