Well what is there to say about these cars. I definately think a phase 2 (1999-2003) is the nice looking car. It is a facelight Phase 1 (-1999). The Phase 2 come in 3 different engine sizes 1.4 16v, 1.6 16v and 2.0. The 2.0 comes in 2 forms, either a VVT or an IDE. The Phase 1 comes in 3 engine's aswell 1.6, 2.0 8v and 2.0 16v. They are not very spacious in the back if the driver/passenger is tall. They are reliable and good looking cars. I had mine for 3 years and it never let me down. I upgraded from a Clio to the Megane Coupe. And even after a 3 car smash the car was in reasonable condition. After my experience with the Coupe i decided to buy a Megane Cabriolet and i love it too. Pity its not been roof down wather recently.
