I remember reading a little which ago about an artist who created some unbelievably beautiful paintings for a church, but whose private life was reprehensible. A little research produced the following information: Eric Gill, the sculptor, apparently committed incest and bestiality, and further back in history Caravaggio was a murderer and Wagner an anti-Semite. How do you reconcile the splendour of their work with the horror of their lives, especially when these works are of a religious nature or displayed in religious buildings?

Sometimes, I think it does, but the (I hate the term for my personal stuff) art I do... mostly - no. I'm noeither a demon with three arms or a cartoon character who flies!

I think that God created everything and then he created humankind to enjoy life. I think that still now He is trying to take care of us. But he gave us free will and thus, he can not stop us from doing horrible things to one another or to the natural world. What he does constantly is to try to move our hearts to help each other. But he will never force us to do it. What do you think?

I think God created us first and foremost to glorify him, and that it is by doing this, by 'loving God with your heart, soul, mind and strength, and loving others as yourself' (Mark 12), is when we will truely discover how amazing the life is that God created for us.

It totally depends on the filling. I butter both slices normally, but put much less on if I’m having a ‘sweet’ filling – honey, chocolate spread, syrup etc. My husband only butters one slice, if that, and thus I hate it when he makes my lunch! It just tastes incredibly dry. It also depends on whether I’m using marge or ‘proper’ butter. I’m more likely to use more if it’s margarine as butter can be a bit overpowering sometimes – I’m more likely to use butter on toast or when eating really nice fresh bread, without any other filling or spread.
