My husband thinks £40 I think this is excessive what do you think?

I would say if you are feeding him keeping a rood over his head and paying all the bills then you should take a minimum of £50 and really should be taking more like £100. If he gets his own food and pays towards bills then £40 is good and fair.

As a nurse I am sick of people complaining about the health service. I hate how the media always focuses on the negative from super-bugs to vermin on wards, but never highlights any of the positives. I worry that all this negative press makes people scared to go into hospital for necessary treatment, and their anxiety makes the whole recovery process longer. Yes, there are problems, but I think the same problems would arise in privately owned hospitals too and I think that private health care would only serve to make things worse for those on low income.

Well if you want, to destroy the country by closing the largest employer of people in the world down then close the NHS. SURE there is room for improvement in the NHS, maybe with better budget management it can be sorted. But at the moment if your ill and you have no money you can be helped. Not many places give you that
