When you get appointed as a Police Officer, you have to keep up to a required fitness level for a certain amount of time, after that, you do not have to keep up to a desired fitness level.. That is why there are so many unfit officers walking the street who cannot run after someone, for example, who's stolen from a shop and sprinting down to street to avoid getting caught. What do you think, do you think Police Officers should be made to keep reasonably fit so they can actually do their job? I am asking this, because I am wishing to apply to the police within the next 5 years and I, myself, keep myself in a very fit condition. Just wondered what you all thought about the matter...

I would wonder on some level whether all the police would want to have to pass the tests or whether it would cause them to drop out. I mean if you are in the street all day then you are not exactly going to want to get home and go to the gym to try and up your fitness level. It is emotionally tough enough without too much worrying about that as well. As long as they are able to do their jobs then I am happy. Plus if they are on the streets daily, which they would be if they were to chase would be felons. Then it is likely they are already pretty fit through all the walking and like things. I wish you luck when you apply.

My husband is really starting to annoy me. We are decorating our bathroom and he has decided to take a back seat stating “you want to change it you do it”. He has chosen to work all hours whilst I am trying my hardest to get the bathroom finished. I have striped tiles and re-tiled, painted and started laying new flooring. I asked him for his help to move some stuff and he started acting like a child. He stamped his feet told me that I had done everything wrong. I tried taking to him and we just end up arguing. This reminds me of the days when my mum and dad decorated.

Question is, are all men the same?????

They all think they're right and the 'best' at everything... We have to kind of treat them like children; speak calmly and give them attention when they need it haha. but apart from that, they are all the same i guess, they can't stand us doing things without their help and appraisal.
