My Landlord owns a hairdressers and insisted that i visit next time i needed my hair "doing". The result was a pretty decent haircut and a half head of lovely highlights but also a £116 bill!! Does anyone else think i was ripped off?!

yes definatley!! i am a fully qualified hairdresser but no longer work in that profession..over 100 pounds for only half a head of highlights is extortionate.it really is ridiculus..i wouldnt visit again as it sounds your landlord could easily break your bank if you where to keep up with the colours..just politley say you know someone else in the business and have promised you will let them do your hair.also what they use to colour your hair lets you know if your are getting quality or ripped off.such as using cling film or foil is cutting back costs and increasing profits other then using 'mesh' or 'papers' where you can see the colour developing yourself and is a lot quicker to do
