My hope is that throughout my life I can say that I have been more of a giver. There have been other times where I've had to humble myself be a receiver when there was a specfic need in my life. This time of year when we celebrate the greatest gift of alll, which is the precious Christ child, the Word becoming flesh and dwelling among us. God's give to the world has made me a very thankful receiver of His gift. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

I am forever the giver and somtimes end up regretting the fact

Alll of life's benefits are blessing from God. The very air that I breathe and the food that I eat is a gift from God and I can lay no claim that I am entitled to it. The fact that I was born into a country like America with all the freedoms that come with it, is truly a privelege. I consider myself no better than a person that was born into a 3rd world country. I was never given a guarantee or 'right' to succeed even though I live in a place where the potential for that to happen is real. Everyone in America is given the right to "a pursuit of happiness", but never guaranteed it. When we work for an agreed upon amount or sign a contract, legallly we are entitled to what we have rightfully earned. But in the general scheme of all things, does anyone really 'owe' us anything. I can only speak for myself, and refer to what the general context of God's Word speaks of, and that is if I truly got what I deserved, it would not be good. Thank God for His grace and the 'benefits' he provides to His creation! I look forward to your opinions on this matter.

I cannot give an opinion on the tuao theme of opinion because i write from another nation

Growing up in a smalll town and living in a rural area, I am more of a country boy at heart. I like to visit the big citiies, but much prefer the wide open spaces. The traffic in ciities take a bit getting used to when you are used to cruising freely. Please let me know which type of person you are and share a little about why you lean in that direction. Thanks.
