... just say for instance you were offered £200 to eat something you do not like, would you eat it?. i really dont like cheese, and to be honest even for £200 i dont think i could eat any,dont like marmite either but i think i could eat a TINY, WEENY amount for money, please dont say "dog food" or "dog poo" ,lets be sensible here!! love theresa

A lot of gadgets and gizmo's I buy - from MP3 players to mobile phones - have really irritating elements to them. My iPod doesn't play WMA files. My mobile phone doesn't like my old phones favourite screensavers, and I love my MAC - but it doesn't have half the bits of software my old PC had.

It just makes me wonder - is this a sign that we, the consumer, are no longer in control. For example:

- Is it the case now that big brands just chuck things out thinking we'll just buy them because they look good?
- Do big technology brands really listen to us when making new products? I don't think so.
- Are things just getting more complex technologically so we have to call expensive premium rate help lines?
