I can get up to 650 miles on a 40L tank. I drive a 1.9 Diesel Seat Ibiza, so a small(ish) car.

The most unusual food I've ever eaten was Guinea Pig. It came out with a tomato stuffed in its mouth instead of an apple and had all legs still there. It didn't really have much meat on it though, but tasted lovely.

Squid, Ostrich, Water buffalo ... I'll eat pretty much anyhting!

I have fitted water butts to my gutting, so I can water the garden for free during dry spells. I recycle all garden waste, cardboard, paper, plastic, glass and metal. I even make sure that work recycles plastic and cardboard too. I have cut my driving speed/ acceleration in my car and have noticed that I can get an additional 150 to 200 miles per tank or even more (upto 650 miles per tank). I make sure that I switch off electrical appliances if possible and am trying to think of ways of getting work into this mindset. I have been looking at ways of hooking up my exercise bike and rowing machine to generate my own electricity and may follow up this project to power things like my TV and computer. I have switched most lightbulbs in the house to energy saving ones. I am also looking into how to save and use rainwater to flush toilets, etc in my house.
