Life can be pretty stressful at times, there's no avoiding it. Just wondering how other people cope with it, e.g medication or relaxation techniques.

relaxation techniques! yoga, kinesiologic techniques and other. take stress seriously! some people seam to deal with stress easily but they usually just ignore it, think of a baloon permanently filled with "bad" water.. nature helps greatly to relax as well.plants and animals reduce stress(of course only if they dont shit on important documents Oo )

We curently spend enourmous amounts of money defending ideals that are in many cases unjust for financial benefit without looking at the full implications of our decisions (eg Irag and Afghanastan). Do the people of these countries really want/know why we are there?

Yes but I don't think it will ever happen. People are too aggressive, especially when it comes to personal opinions and beliefs
