I have read a number of topics on what age gap is right or wrong and was just wondering what the gap is between you and your partner? Mine is 7 years with me being the senior half although i do not look it :)

6 year & 1 month exactly & I am the oldest, age gaps don't matter to me it is just a number at the end of the day.

Just questioning this as there seems to be a divide for the for and against movement.

So asking the question, do you honestly believe that there is ever justification to hit a partner?

Some people seem to think that if the partner pushes and pushes you then you are justified in responding and that they knew it was coming so its not that wrong.

Personally I think that is cowardly and that there is never an excuse to hit a partner, if they are winding you up then you walk away from the situation or drive away but you remove yourself, I dont' think there is every a justification to hit a partner.

What are your views?

It is only right to hit your partner if they hit you 1st. E.g my hubby has mental health issues and can turn violent and sometimes I have to restrain him
