The reason I started this is because I am diabetic and have had very little in the way of councelling groups etc or even basic knowledge given to me from my medical team.
Watching a quit smoking advert I noticed that support groups are offered and leaflets and help packs and god knows what else are all offered but why? smoking is a choice whereas my diabetes certainly was not.
everything i know about diabetes is from research i did myelf on the net and forums my doctors didnt even tell me the simpliest of things that would have made things thats more clearer.

I think smokers should be encouraged to quit and plenty of people need the help, they cant do it on their own.However i do think more money could be spent on more research into dementia and other non cureable dieases

I think weddings have been totally blown out of proportion. People are getting themselves in serious debt for what can only be described as an overrated party.
I'd rather have a wedding that represented who I am and cost £100 rather than splashing out thousands to try and impress people who don't really matter.

I don't believe in marriage, but there are many reasons for this and i understand why people would want to.
In my opinion weddings are for religious purposes, i'm not a beliver in any religion, so to be joined in the eyes of god means nothing to me. I don't like the way that they cos so much, my cousin got married last year and shes having debt troubles because she still owes money on her wedding.
I understand why people would want to celebrate marriage so much, many little girls dream about the perfect wedding day from a really young age (i was never one of those girls) Its meant to be a special day, once in a lifetime if you are truely happy together
