It does bother me if I know that they've been made by people living in very bad conditions and being paid peanuts as compared to the price that I've paid for the item. Would definitely welcome fair-trade products if they meant better and fairer wages are being passed on to the labourers.

I think people knowing where and how their clothes are made is crucial. The places people work to get your clothes made on time are ridiculous- check out 'Blood, Sweat And T-Shirts' - amazing programme. Once you realise how unfair trade is, for example: cocoa beans. The children who grow up to be farmers do not get the education they need, so when they come to selling off crops they get ridiculously ripped off by evils like Nestle without knowing anything!!
I think people should all take fairTrade into account, and try to search for it as much as possible.
