Knowing someone who collects toilet seats I just wondered if anyone else collected anything odd?

I read in the paper that schools are going to be called places of learning in case the word 'School' summons up bad thoughts and fears.
School can indeed be a scary place for some children but I really don't think renaming them would help

A bit over the top, school is a good definition of the purpose of a place of learning

I think a true friend would be someone who accepts you for who you are and if you have a disability will look past that into your heart. Also a person who listens and never tells your secrets

I totally agree with you. A true friend is someone who accepts you for all your faults and imperfections and loves you regardless. They are also someone who is there the minute you ask when things are bad and not just in the good times.

A true friend I think can be shown by an example. If you won the lottery a true friend would on the phone to you the next day truly happy that you won and congratulating and having no expectation at all that they will get anything. And if you actually offer them something will ask "are you sure" and feel a little uncomfortable about getting it.

I don't think we have a lot of true friends in this life and we generally find out when times go bad who are true friends and who are "fair weather" friends.
