Personnally I was appalled when I read about this in the local paper. I firmly beleive that as a British citizen living in my own country I should have a set of British laws to follow and not Middle Eastern. I'm pretty sure that the countries of the Middle East would be disgusted if we were to go there and suggest that they adopty British laws for their citizens. Everyone who lives in Great Britain should follow the laws of this country regardless of their nationality, religion, colour, or gender. When I visit other countries I abide by the laws of that country and don't expect them to given me preferential treatment because I'm British.

what is wrong with british law after all this is Britain is it not. If I was living in a Muslim country would I be tried under British law I think not

Do you class yourself as British? Or do you use a specific nationality? I'm English and I don't see why I shouldn't say it. I've heard of many incidents where people have gotten into trouble for calling themselves English. This is just ridiculous. The government says we can't call ourselves English because of the fear of offending people of other nationalities. Are they really offended? I love meeting people of different nationalities and don't find their difference offensive at all, and I've never met anyone who finds my calling myself English offensive. I also support the right of other people of the British Isles to their own nationalities. Surely we have a human right to our nationality and cultural roots.

MY OWN OPINION IS DEATH SENTANCE IN SOME CASES MAY BE GOOD IDEA, A LIFE SENTANCE SHOULD MEAN WHOLE LIFE,NOT TEN YEARS OR LESS. AND I ALSO THINK THAT IF A LIFER WANTS TO END HIS/HER OWN LIFE THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO, PEOPLE LIKE HUNTLY.AND MOORS MURDERER WANT TO DIE ,SO WHY MAKE THEM LIVE AT TAXPAYERS EXPENSE? TWO RECENT CASES, DIXIE AND WRIGHT SHOULD BE GIVEN LETHAL INJECTION .

yes, and when senteced to life imprisonment it should be exactly that in prison until the end of your life
