I recently completed a survey sent to me by Toluna which asked questions about motor insurance. Less than an hour after completing it I received some junk email about motor insurance! Has anyone else experienced this lack of privacy? I know some users have reported seeing their details on Google after registering and I'm now very concerned about the privacy policy of this site.

I think info given to any opinion poll org. should be strictly confidential. There should be no tic box options. I must admit I have not found my info being given out by any other organisation but have yet to get to the end of a Toluna one.

Are you aware of where your clothes come from and how they are made and does this influence you when you are shopping for clothes?
I would like to be more ethically sound when shopping for clothes but find I get conflicting information about which brands are ethical and which aren't and what I should be looking out for. How does one go about finding this information out from a reliable source?
Are there any brands that you actively boycott or brands that you advocate?

we receive many leaftets asking for clothing collections, which i regularly contribute to, hoping to help out people less fortunate than our selves, today i received a leaflet, from a charity called, SHC COLLECTIONS LTD, i have never actually read the fine print on these leaflets, but today i did, it states in small print that they are a charity collecting clothing, so that they can make clothing available to eastern european countries,at affordable prices! surey if we are giving the clothing away, the people in these countries should get them for free, i dont understand how they can be charged, or is there something i am missing? has anyone got any info on this?

Also, there has been some publicity about people who go around neighbourhoods when they know there has been a charity bag drop and they take the bags for thier own purposes, so the charity never gets them. Also, I've seen the people collecting the bags and they just throw then into the back of the van - this is OK if there are just clothes in the bags but they also ask for crockery and ornaments and anything that can be resold in their shops. I now prefer to fill the bag and take it myself to the charity shop.

Hi, I've just posted my first opinion topic on here and it's been pointed out that the topic has already been put on, only a week ago. Firstly, I want to say sorry! :-)
Secondly, can anyone advise on how I can avoid doing this again, without having to read every single topic first?
Thanks.
