I want to thank everyone who responded to my previous opinion about writing responses of more than 80 words. I felt that all of the responses were useful. I appreciate that many people want to put their opinion across and just enjoy the chat. I have spent much time reading the opinions of others and seeing how other people view things.
Maybe it's just me, but if I wanted yes or no answers to a question I was researching, I think I would create a poll instead of an opinion. I have found that scrolling through pages of yes and no answers is not really finding out peoples opinions.
I am interested to know what Toluna do with all of the opinions which we create. I can understand the information from the sponsored polls, but I would not have thought our opinions are not as easily changed into statistics for market research.
If anyone is here purely for rewards, then I have found an American site which pays out into a paypal account. Drop me an email at ice-queen123@hotmail.com and I will send you the link.
I have read in several places that opinions need to have a minimum of 80 words in order to qualify for points. However, I also see that lots of people just respond with short often one word answers. I have to wonder, why bother? If it is true that there is an 80 word minimum, then why don't people write 80 words? I also see that there is an option when creating a new opinion to select a minimum number of words per opinion. Why would I want to select less than 80? Can some experienced person please help me out here and shed some light on the subject?
do people who just copy the same words over and over and over again get points if they go over 80 words or is someone sitting there weeding them out so that the cheats will never prosper as they say . Is it worth me waffling on to see if i will get points if this little opinion goes over 80 words or shall i stop and see if this question is dropped into the rubbish bin and no points will ever be seen from my rantings
Do you care what kind of additives and extra ingredients food manufacturers put in your food, if you buy from frozen that is?
I personally make sure the highest possible amount of food that I have in my diet comes from natural stuff or is cooked by myself or my family using whole and fresh foods. Not only is it better for you in terms of nutrient content, but I find that it tastes a lot better. Of course, there are exceptions like yoghurts and seasonings...but I make sure I read the label on the back beforehand...if I don't know what the ingredient is, or it isn't a brand that I trust...I put it straight back on the shelf!
Yes I care about what is in the food which I buy. I think there are far too many additives, preservaties, colourings and artificial ingredients in so many products on the market. I try to buy a few organic products each week, but find it frustrating that they are often much more expensive. I will also buy lots of fresh fruit and veg etc., and will prepare meals from scratch. I never buy frozen meals or ready made meals as I think there can't be much goodness in them. I think we all need to take more responsibility for the food which we put into our bodies.
