It seems that an increasing number of people are keen to get a divorce these days after they experience a 'Hitch' in their marriage. Now obviously, the reasons for a person seeking a divorce will differ greatly from one person to the next, the enormity of a situation will influence how quickly someone wants to cut all ties with a spouse, but when I think of the number of people I know personally, friends, family and Co-workers who have decided to divorce without even trying, or seeming to, save the relationship I am quite surprised. I have noticed this happening in the last five years ro so. I am not married myself, but am in a long- term relationship. It seems that out of the people I know, those who are NOT married, try harder to sort things out before deciding to move on, if it has to come to that. I find this interesting. Have people here divorced after a short marriage or at the first sign of trouble? Did you find that you were more likely to have tried to talk things through and save the relationship 'before' you were married? Has anyone regretted having divorced so hastily, and wished they had worked on things? Thanks. :)
