Sadly a child has died while on holiday. This is terrible and I heartedly feel sorry for the families loss. However, the BBC said the familiy had NO IDEA where their 6 year old was and were suprised when he was found drowned in the pool of the hotel. They also said the family were very angry that there was no lifeguard on duty and are blaming Thomas Cook and the hotel for this. However, the hotel and the travel company were within the law and have committed no offense here.

My question is: Why is someone else always to blame for something bad?

I understand that children cannot be monitored 100% of thetime but to have no idea when they'd only arrived at the resort a mere hour earlier...? Accidents happen but why is someone else to blame?

I thought this years programme was excellent and the achievements of sports people was amazing when recapped together.

Chris Hoy was a deserved winner. How do you feel?
