yeah i totally agree with your comment adedayo it would be fab if they came up with a new invention that wasnt expensive to save us people from the dreaded ironing,bless my late mother and father used to iron everything socks,pants,hankychiefs you name it and my mother ironed it,i just iron the neccesities shirts,trousers,t shirts etc,i dont mind ironing at all because i keep on top of it and dont let it build up so that i have mountains of it!,who knows in 20 years time we may have cheep robots to do it Ha ha wishfull thinking......
There is an ironing press which you can iron most things with but it is very expensive. I tend to iron essential items and everything else doesnt get ironed. My bit for the cut in the electric bill
I used to think that about 20years ago but, given how much I iron these days, I don't think I'd bother to get one even if they were invented - & of course, they'd be expensive as all 'new' appliances are. I have done my years of school shirts & find that, other than my uniform tops for work, most things can be just folded or put on hangers. I can then use the electricity (& time) I save to hang around on Toluna!
