we went to Vegas about 5 / 6 yrs ago, and took a brilliant trip to the Grand Canyon, we flew over part of it in a 8 seater small plane, then landed and got in to an Helecopter, and flew down the side of the canyon walls, Awsome, then we had about 1 hr to stroll around, with our complementry couple of glasses of Champagne, it really is a Sight to Behold. ... anyone else experianced it ????
yes we visited last October and unless you haved a good head for heights, dont even attempt to cross the glass floored platform that juts out over the Canyon itself. If Yowzer were there, she would freeze in toal fear. Its an awful feeling looking down at an abyss standing on clear glass. Aaaaaargh! Quitge spectacular but not for me.
not me but my mum went a couple of years back (at the age of 75) She went to Canada with my aunt & said there was no way she would pass up the chance to do that helicopter trip. My aunt said she wouldn't go & mum said 'Fine, you can just stay on the ground & watch me then!!'. Go mum!!
No I've not been but it is somewhere I plan to go when I retire which hopefully will be within the next 3 years. I havea list of places to visit and that is one of them in America along with Niagara Falls.
