Of course. In countries where it is legal you know the woman are clean and they are also attractive unlike the women on the streets who are mainly junkies and ugly as sin.
Do you have children..think!!..they will grow up one day.And to legalize it is the soft option as its out of control in may town,s,and so the downward spiral of human morals has started big time.
I think that prostitution ought to be made legal. Lets face it, its going to happen whether its legal or not. If we legitimise it, at least regulations can be put in place and some kind of protection for the girls (and guys too i guess). It would also help to stop the trafficing of the girls hopefuly. I can't think of any bad points to be honest, only that no doubt more people would just pay for sex which is their choice but I personaly wouldnt agree with it. Even if you dont agree with prostitution itself, you cant not want to keep people safe....
Yes I think it should be legalised but more from the point of view that it can then be regulated to ensure that regular health checks are done, taxation is applied, health and safety is addressed etc. It would mean that working girls can then declare there income and use it for applying for finance etc which they can't at present if it is cash. I don't believe it would stop trafficking etc as unfortunately you will always have those who have unacceptable interests and wants when it comes to the treatment etc of prostitutes and they will still have to operate outside of the law but I think it would offer security and support to the legitimate businesses that could run above board. Don't see the point in it being illegal as it continues regardless and the only thing it achieves by making it illegal is taking away the benefits brought by regulating the industry. Just my personal view.
Yes. If prostitution were legalised and prostitutes worked out of legal brothels then you would not get cases like the Ipswich murders because the girls ould be safe and looked after and the industry would be properly regulated. The girls and guysinvolved could be screened regularly for STDs, given help to get off drugs and alcohol and would not have to live in fear of being abused by pimps who take all their money leaving them with nothing.
Prostitution is a result of a few things...deprivation and poverty, greed on the womens part and manipulation by perverted men...NO it should be banned and the causes confronted.
It would be safer for prostitutes if it were made legal...it's always going to be around so it might as well be regulated...the government could always tax it!
